We are a multi-generational farm company that grows our almonds on some of the finest almond ground in the world, located in East Stanislaus County, California. Our property has been archived as one of the first almond ranches in the state, benefiting from nutrient-rich, prolific soils and an ideal almond growing climate. The property also has exceptional access to some of the purest and most pristine water, originating from the Sierra Nevada snowpack in Yosemite National Park.

Our almonds taste different due to our multi-layered, proprietary farming technologies that begin with a 10-year process to convert the orchard to our Wild Soil brand platform. Our orchards are grown in virgin soils utilizing this proprietary technology, emulating the farming practices of our forefathers pre-1920. The health and biodiversity of our soil is proven and can be independently verified. Consequently, our almonds contain superior taste and nutritional qualities, including naturally occurring prebiotics and probiotics, as confirmed by our proprietary testing.

Our farming method is an informed version of organic management, grounded in science rather than the organic label. We use proprietary cultural methods to create a form of restored virgin soil, allowing our plants to achieve their full potential. Good soil contains a diversity of microorganisms that trigger disease resistance in the plants and suppress the growth of pathogens, reducing the need for pesticides.

In contrast, conventional farming produces big plants maintained with chemical fertilizers and pesticides, creating sterile soils and sterile food lacking in rich life and naturally occurring probiotics. Science now suggests that such sterile foods may be contributing to the rise in human noncommunicable diseases.

Our almond trees grow in newly virgin soil, restored in part by our proprietary, organic compost.
